School Update

It's hard to believe we've been in school for a month! Just wanted to update you on a few events that are coming up this month.

Please check with your child to see if they need a new set of headphones to use with the Chromebooks. Most students have been using the same set for a few years and may need mom/dad to purchase them a new set.

All Pro Dad's will meet again on September 27 at 7:30 in our conference room. This will be a fun 30 minute event where you can spend quality time with your child, eat breakfast and learn a valuable life lesson. Please arrive a little early to get your breakfast so we can start on time. You can RSVP by logging into All Pro Dad’s by clicking on this link:

The Illini Quarterback Club is sponsoring a free Punt, Pass, and Kick Competition on September 23. Informational flyer is in the digital locker in School Insight.

Just a reminder to NOT pass a school bus when it's stop sign is out. We have a bus dropping a student off in the front of Washington School in the morning and picking up in the afternoon and cars have been passing the bus during loading and unloading. Please help us keep our students safe.

We will be having our required Supervised Law Enforcement Drill on Tuesday, September 26. We will practice relocating to the Presbyterian Church which is our relocation site. The drill will begin at 8:30 and we should be back at school by 9:00.

Sages Strut is Friday, September 29! If you plan to attend you must have a volunteer form on file ahead of the date. Everyone must fill out a new form each year. Volunteer forms can be found on our website. Thanks for supporting this event!
