***Washington Elementary School (2024-25) - Special Ed Aide
Washington School is looking for a full-time Teacher Aide to work 7 hours a day on student attendance days plus 2 in-service days.
Qualifications: Must qualify for a Paraprofessional Certificate (60 college credit hours, Associates Degree or higher, Teaching License, High School Diploma or GED and pass the ETS ParaPro Test). Experience with special needs students in a classroom setting preferred but not required.
Hourly Rate: $18.00/$20.00 per hour with board paid Health/Life Insurance. This position is IMRF qualified.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or higher plus valid Illinois Library Media Specialist License or a Teaching License is required. Experience working with high school students and collaborating with high school teachers and administrators, working with technology in a school setting, and experience teaching technology/digital media is preferred.
Salary/Benefits: Starting TRS salary is $46,154 (2024-25 base salary) plus board paid health and life insurance.
