Those going out for high school golf this year:
1. Practice/tryouts will begin on Monday, Aug. 12th at the driving range from 9:00-10:30. On Tuesday, Aug. 13th we will be at MGC from 9-11am. We(the coaches) will make a decision on whether we need to make cuts based on two criteria: how many players go out and also readiness of a player to play competitive golf. If we do need to make cuts we will do so at the end of practice on Tuesday.
2. Parent/player meeting will be on Tuesday, August 13th at MGC from 6:30-7:30pm. This is mandatory for the player and at least one parent.
3. Please make sure that if you decide to come out that you are expected to be at all practices and matches, unless you have a dual athlete agreement and your practice times have been agreed upon by the coaches involved. Parents: please arrange doctor appointments and such so they do not interfere with practice and matches.
4. Make sure you have completed everything for athletic registration. If you are not sure, contact the high school office. Everything must be completed before the tryout date.
